Battlefield Hobbies is an accessible and comfortable wargames venue and wargaming retailer located in the centre of the country; Daventry, Northamptonshire.

At Battlefield Hobbies we are not just a retail store, we are building a community. We offer a huge variety of games both new and old. With lots of tables for open gameplay, tournaments and many events, we are a place you can bring your friends and your family!

Founders Nobby and Hammy share a passion for board gaming and community-building and have come together to Bring Battlefield Hobbies to life. The concept is simple: a centrally located large gaming venue and retail outlet to service the gaming community.

With have many years gaming experience between them and seek to provide the highest possible standards of service to their customers through providing a fantastic range of stock from an extensive number of manufacturers.

Nobby started playing Dungeons and Dragons aged 11 with his classmates at school. After a brief hiatus when he ‘grew up’, he grew back down again and rediscovered his love for board games, becoming primarily interested in Flames of War and X-Wing.

Hammy has been a wargamer for rather longer than he would be willing to admit. Starting with the works of Donald Featherstone and Charles Grant he has played many different systems over the decades and been involved in multiple clubs and organisations.
