Make a contract with us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
Once we have reviewed your order, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods. Whilst goods may be shown assembled and painted, they may require assembly and painting by you.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that there may be manufacturing variance with the items that supplied to us or that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.
Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

How to place an order
You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time. If you prefer to order by telephone, you can do so by calling 01327 702001.
All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current rate.
Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.
Pre-Orders
Items that are not immediately available and are considered ‘pre-order’ items will be clearly identified as such on our website. These items will not be dispatched until stock becomes available for sale in the UK.
Battlefield Hobbies will always try its best to get pre-order items to you as soon as possible but cannot be held responsible for supplier or manufacture delays.
Please be aware that if you place an order containing a pre-order item the entire order will not be released until the pre-order item becomes available. You can contact us to arrange separate delivery of non pre-order items, you will be charged additional an additional carriage charge for multiple deliveries.
Should you decide to cancel pre-order items then we reserve the right to charge a 5% charge for handling of the transaction and refund.
Shipping and Delivery
Mainland UK
Under normal circumstances our mainland UK shipping costs are £3.25 for any order.
Goods will be sent using second class Royal Mail postage. Items may be posted as either parcels or large letters dependant on the size of the items ordered.
There are however a number of products that we stock that are either bulky or deemed hazardous by the Royal Mail. What constitutes a bulky item shall be at Battlefield Hobbies Limited’s discretion, hazardous items are those deemed so by the Royal Mail. For these types of items we have to use a courier service and in this case the cost will vary depending on size and weight etc.

Overseas
We are currently unable to offer overseas shipping.
Shipping Times
When you place an order for items that are in stock we will endeavour to post out orders as promptly as possible. Orders received will be posted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Goods Damaged In Transit
If your package arrives damaged, please ensure the carrier is notified at the time of delivery and do not sign for the package as undamaged. For a valid claim to be made, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and keep all the external packaging with the damaged product.
Undeliverable Items
All of our items are sent via a recorded method of delivery. If an item cannot be delivered it will be held at your local sorting office. Items are not held indefinitely and will eventually be returned to us. You will be charged further shipping should you wish for the items to be re-dispatched. We attempt to contact all customers whose items are returned to us.
If you choose not to have the item re-sent the original amount charged for shipping will not be refunded.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Battlefield Hobbies, you can return your items for a full refund within 7 days of the original delivery date.
Items that are not faulty will not be refunded fully and will attract a restocking charge of 5% of the original transaction cost.
Please advise us by email to info@battlefieldhobbies.co.uk within 7 days of the date of delivery. You will then be issued a returns form, which must be completed and returned with your items.
Returns must be unopened, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.
Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping amount and that we cannot accept returned merchandise without a Return Material Authorisation (RMA).
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

We will ask for photograph of damaged goods and packaging to be sent to us by e.mail.
Faulty Goods / Guarantee
If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It is helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.
The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.
The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund the cost of returning your item using an economy recorded service. We will not refund the cost of using express services. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.
Liability
The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses. You should therefore not book installation of the goods until you have received them and inspected them.
