MaxxRas Word Game

Maxxras word game is created by the winner of the Best Family Game Award – UK Games Expo 2007.

Game 1 Maxxras: Word game which contains 10 levels. Players begin at level 1 and build/create/form 3 or 4 letter words and progress to level 10 and build/create/form 15 or more letter words. Maxxras is simple to begin and then through the levels becomes one of the most challenging word games in the world. There is lots of room for progression as it gets harder after each level as more letters are needed to make a word. Maxxras is probably the only word game in the world that allows the players the opportunity of building/creating/forming a 45 letter word – pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis whilst playing Level 10. Watch out for the wild card.

The famous card games Snap and Pairs are for the younger players to enjoy and have fun with the alphabet cards. Maxxras is for the word game fans in the family and for the players that like being challenged. It’s an ideal travel game. Objective: Take turns to build a word by using alphabet letters from one of your own playing cards and letters from the cards in the centre play area. The first player to shed all of their cards outright wins that level. (Hence card shedding word game). Game 2: Pairs: A card game in which all of the cards are laid face down and two cards are flipped face up over each turn. The idea of the game is to turn over 2 matching cards. Game 3: Snap: Player deals all the cards in the pack face-down to each player. When two same cards are on the pile and the first player to shout SNAP takes all the cards on the pile.
